Meet Dr Henry Shaw - Dentist
Qualifications: Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Distinction)
Henry graduated from the University of Otago with Distinction in 2018. He has spent close to 3 years working up in the Central North Island until returning to his hometown of Christchurch.
Henry enjoys all aspects of dentistry including saving teeth with root canal treatment, removing tricky teeth, and restoring function to the mouth with bridges, crowns and fillings. He is currently studying a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and is already providing high-quality orthodontic care for his patients through conventional braces and clear aligner therapy.
Clients describe Henry as gentle, caring and thorough with his work. He aims to provide his patients with high quality, long-lasting dental work, and the best full mouth solution for any budget.
Outside of work Henry can be found in the mountains tramping, skiing or climbing. When he's not in the outdoors he enjoys spending time with family and friends or watching a good TV series.
Karen Kuek - Oral Health Therapist
Qualifications: Bachelor of Oral Health
Karen is a registered oral health therapist who graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Oral Health. After gaining a few years experience in Ashburton, she’s thrilled to be back in her hometown of Christchurch.
Karen strives to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for her patients. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve and maintain their oral health goals. She will work closely with each patient to provide personalised care and guidance tailored to their individual needs.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys playing the piano, singing in various choirs, and travelling. She also loves spending quality time with family and friends, and is also partial to a good book.
